Ann’s Celebration of Life is October 18 at 10:30 in the Galleria of Port Moody City Hall, 100 Newport Dr with a reception to follow

We lost a dear friend on August 29th, 2025.  Past Rotarian, Past President of RWH, amazing friend and citizen of Port Moody who earned the Key to our City,  Ann Hulbert passed away after a long fight.  We send our condolences to her son and Grandchildren.  RIP Ann xoxoxo

Flags have been lowered at civic facilities to honour the passing of former Port Moody City Councillor Ann Hulbert. She served on Council for 23 years and received the Freedom of the City Award, the highest honour Port Moody can bestow, for her significant contributions to the community. We offer our deepest condolences to Ms. Hulbert’s family and friends.

Ann’s son Jason wrote this on Instagram:

Social media is great for getting the word out for both happy and sad events. Unfortunately this is a sad post. Mom passed away last night just short of her 85th. She had a series of health issues for a prolonged period of time and it was expected but as always it’s still a shock. My one request is to not remember her for the last number of years as she went through her health complications but as the person she was. Never afraid to lend her voice/opinion to what she thought was important, a city council member and volunteer in @cityofpomo for decades. Hence my reason for choosing this picture of her, in her happy place, being involved. More info to come regarding a celebration of life. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to check on her and visited her, it did not go unnoticed. Love you mom, say hi to dad for me. ❤️
